Local IWS Data Repository repairs underway

Hope you're staying safe! The hurricane should still be over us for the next day or so - please remain in your shelters until an ALL CLEAR is declared by your local governmental authorities. I'm still working on repairing the repository's infrastructure and data stores, but most of it's beyond repair and needs to be recreated from scratch. Please be patient while repositories are updated, and note that some entries may be incomplete. Additionally, I still haven't been able to establish contact with the North American Continental Office. Currently, this office (the North American NE Regional Office) seems to be the most operational on the continent. And it's just me. Forecasting infrastructure is also being repaired, but the data repositories remain a strong priority for informing the public. Please stay safe, continue checking back regularly for updates. Local IWS Data Repository commencing repair

I don't have much time to write this. The Vinequakes took out everything we had - even the shielded backups and our alert systems - and I've got to get to work on rebuilding it all before the information comes too late. I'll update the Vinequake entry next, but first, if you're reading this anywhere near the East Coast, you're in immediate danger. There's a hurricane coming - you probably already knew that - but we calculated a 70% chance that it might turn into a severe ScH storm based on current solar data and historical ScH rain patterns here. Find shelter immediately. Do not stay outside. Stay away from windows and exterior walls. Beware the Rain. I wish I had more for you right now, but I'm one of the only two dusologists that survived the quakes, and the other one doesn't have full access to the servers yet. Please, prepare yourself the best you can. Check back regularly for updates.
