Super-charged Hubium (ScH) Precipitation

Overview
When gaseous Hubium in the upper atmosphere is hit by radiation from SOL-1 ("the yellow Sun"), it is supercharged into a new substance called Super-charged Hubium (or ScH) which is extremely dangerous and unstable. Water clouds/droplets condensing in the upper atmosphere are capable of "picking up" loose ScH superparticles, which are then brought back down to Earth in the form of rain. When ScH superparticles in raindrops hit the Earth's surface (or other superparticles midair) at their terminal velocity, the impact triggers their discharge reaction, causing Depleted Hubium particles to explode in random directions at extremely dangerous speeds (at least 0.3% the speed of light!). The combined effect of millions of ScH superparticles falling and exploding together is sometimes referred to as Hubium Radiation (HR). During heavier precipitation HR can render entire outdoor areas lethal without adequate protection, and seeking immediate shelter is paramount to your survival.
Identification
As Hubium (and all of its forms) are naturally colorless and invisible, it is nearly impossible to identify an ScH Precipitation EWE from sight alone. During periods of extremely dense ScH precipitation, you may notice faint blue flashes (also reported to be green or purple in some cases, but this is rare) released by the ScH explosions on the ground or air. Do not assume you are safe if you cannot see these flashes, for they can be easily obscured by strong light sources or sunlight.
One of the only surefire ways to detect ScH precipitation is using specialized detection equipment. You can use a GHSS-22 compliant shielded Geiger Counter or dH Detector to measure the "density" (strength) of the surrounding Hubium Radiation.
WARNING: Do NOT attempt to use any Geiger counters produced before 2053 or that are not certified as being GHSS-22 compliant, as they are not properly shielded against Hubium Radiation and will likely be destroyed by it.
If you do not have the appropriate detection equipment, you may also be warned about ScH Precipitation events by your local IWS office if the detection equipment is available in your local area. (working on it!) Subscribe to IWS emergency alerts here! Please note, however, that this event can occur in small localized patches which may be harder to detect. Your last resort for identifying ScH precipitation is being able to identify the early effects of exposure.
